The Biggest Virtual Event of the Year
Peloton had incredible plans for their annual Homecoming event: dozens of special classes, panels featuring global celebrities, tons of community-building activities, and a keynote address packed with updates to revolutionize the Peloton experience. And then COVID struck and the in-person event needed to go virtual. That's where Ghost Robot came in.
In collaboration with Peloton, we constructed a three-phase plan: a save the date announcement, content teasers, and the global weekend event. We coordinated and directed over three dozen remote interviews and social videos with international instructors and community leaders. We even had a hand in creating digital assets like Instagram filters and stickers.
After six months of planning and teasing, it was finally time for the Homecoming Weekend. Over 400,000 members joined live from around the world. To ensure every last one of these members had a positive virtual experience, the control room demanded masterful leadership, quickly switching between content and combining speakers on stage with guests joining remotely from their homes.
The event was a success, earning praise from both Peloton leadership and the community, at large.
