Kris Moyes graduated university in 2000 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts at the College of Fine Arts, Sydney.
Since 2006 Moyes has been producing and directing internationally acclaimed music videos for Sia, Hercules & Love Affair, Beck, Cut Copy, The Presets and Franz Ferdinand. Moyes has been nominated for MVAA awards and has won 2 ARIA awards, the most prestigious award for a music video in Australia.
Since 2008 he has been directing commercials for international brands such as Cadbury, Schweppes, LG, Lacoste and Honda.
In 2010 he directed and co-wrote a satirical short film, called "City Limits" featuring costumes by Romance Was Born. During the same year City Limits was screened at the Centre Pompidou, Paris.
Recently, he has produced art for group shows and exhibitions both locally and internationally along side John Baldessari, Miranda July, Peter Sutherland, Paper Rad and Melanie Bonajo. Not without a sense of humor, his work is concerned with the relationships between popular culture, art history, technology and science.
Moyes has appeared in a number of publications including, L.A. Times, Esquire, Tokion, The Open Day Book and The New York Times where he was invited along side Jeff Koons, Banks Violette, Oscar de la Renta and The Campana Brothers to re-design the ' T ' Logo for The New York Times Style Magazine.
Now Moyes travels between New York, Los Angeles, London, Paris and Sydney to work on various creative concepts with smart, friendly people...and he loves it!
