In early 2009, Ghost Robot was approached by some friends at Cornerstone to produce videos for their Green Label Sound Project. Their first release was a collaboration between Flosstradamus and Caroline Polachek of Chairlift, two of our favorite artists, so we were immediately excited to do so.
The video is a loose attempt to use minimalist installation art in a "pop" setting, inspired by the artwork of Olaffur Eliasson. At any rate, we'd be working with lots of lights and mirrors. We locked ourselves in a warehouse in Brooklyn during a snowstorm, and figured out as many tricks as possible. Everything you see was done in camera.
