Ghost Robot

Encyclopedia Pictura used a number of different techniques to make this video, including live-action compositing, stop-motion, prosthetics, and a dumpster filled with "quick-sand".  Footage with the band was shot on a green-screen in Brooklyn, where a dumpster filled with vermiculite, doubled for quick-sand.  There were some tense moments as band members were lowered into the vat on our home-made rig, but everyone survived.  That cannot compare, however, to the grueling three day trek which took place in Death Valley  to shoot the remainder of the video.
