Working off the initial concept of "History: Made Everyday", Adam Levite and the Ghost Robot team worked closely with History's in-house marketing team, to create this launch of the stations new identity campaign. Set in a factory, which physically constructs the History logo - or "Propel" - the challenge was to find a way to execute the spot with limited time and a limited budget.
After creating multiple sets of boards and scouting many locations, we settled on shooting in a practical factory location, bringing in our own workers and "Propels", augmenting things digitally, only when absolutely necessary.
The final :60 spot feature a mixture of our factory footage, selected show clips, and nearly forty VFX shots.
